Carbon Express materials are high quality, general purpose, epoxy resin based prepregs with medical, sporting
good, industrial, manufacturing and marine applications. The unidirectional prepreg is a 250oF to 300oF cure, semi-
toughened, controlled flow epoxy resin system, with versatile processing, can be stored for 3 months at 40oF, and is
stable for up to one year at 0oF. Good drapability and conformability is useful for all types of unusual shapes.
We currently carry carbon fiber pre-impregnated with epoxy resin, easily shipped in 6 sq ft sheets,
(1) Bidirectional woven 3K 2x2 twill fabric of 50” width (5.7oz or 200g/sq m dry fiber weight),
(2) Plain weave 3K carbon fiber, 50" width (5.7oz/ sq yd, 0.012" thick) in toughened resin
(3) Unidirectional 150 grams per square meter and 15.75” wide
(4) Unidirectional 300 grams per square meter and 12” wide
(5) Epoxy adhesive film, or 'resin' is available by the square foot (12" x 12" sheets) or larger.
Two thicknesses available- one thick for total saturation of materials, and one thin as 'sandwich' adhesive
